One of the best things about putting myself out there as a family portrait photographer is getting to meet awesome people like the Reilly family. They welcomed me into their home a couple of weeks ago, which turned out to be the last weekend of the fall when there were still leaves on the trees. In their front yard grows a beautiful, burning red Japanese Maple. I have never seen anything like it. We also found a bright yellow shrub and a fun treehouse for some shots in their neighbor’s backyard (yes, we had permission; we are not trespassers!). With half the leaves on the ground and a great red blanket, we had a fantastic shoot. The children were so sweet and filled with such personality. Those curly locks and big eyes are irresistible! I can’t wait to go back in the Spring for our next session. Check out the slideshow below!
Thank you, Reilly family, for letting me into your home and to explore your yard. I had such a great time with all of you. Merry Christmas!
