Reilly Family • Philadelphia Suburbs Portrait Photographer

One of the best things about putting myself out there as a family portrait photographer is getting to meet awesome people like the Reilly family. They welcomed me into their home a couple of weeks ago, which turned out to be the last weekend of the fall when there were still leaves on the trees. In their front yard grows a beautiful, burning red Japanese Maple. I have never seen anything like it. We also found a bright yellow shrub and a fun treehouse for some shots in their neighbor’s backyard (yes, we had permission; we are not trespassers!). With half the leaves on the ground and a great red blanket, we had a fantastic shoot. The children were so sweet and filled with such personality. Those curly locks and big eyes are irresistible! I can’t wait to go back in the Spring for our next session. Check out the slideshow below!

Thank you, Reilly family, for letting me into your home and to explore your yard. I had such a great time with all of you. Merry Christmas!

Newborn Session • Philadelphia Area Photographer

I’ve talked about the Mullen family several times. Krista has been one of my biggest supporters of my photography endeavor. Their family recently became 4 (plus 1 dog and 1 cat) with the birth their beautiful baby girl. After a trying time in the hospital for nearly a month, she was finally able to come home and we were able to do our session. With a warm heart, here she is: perfectly healthy and beautiful.

Philadelphia Area Children’s Photographer

Through a friend, I’ve gotten to know this little guy’s mother and she is one awesome mom! We did this session a few weeks ago with her son who must be the happiest kid I know (at least around me)! He did nothing but smile the entire time we were shooting despite how icy cold it was outside. Don’t you just love his ice blue eyes? Handsome fella! Take a look…

Laura & Bill • Philadelphia Area Engagement Photographer

Laura and I hung around the same crowd in high school, so when she connected with me on Facebook for a photo session, I was super excited! I’d kept up with her and her family over the years via mutual friends and the Internet, but it had been a while since we’d seen each other in person. She suggested the Newlin Grist Mill for the session and despite all the mud, it was the perfect location. Laura, Bill, and these two beautiful little girls made for an awesome engagement/family portrait session!

Clay Family Part One • Philadelphia Suburbs Children’s Photographer

I mentioned last month that I was heading out for this shoot of a high school friend and her son–who is now actually 2 years old! Happy belated birthday, my darling! Unfortunately, her husband got called into work last minute. Or maybe I should say fortunately? Because that means I get to have part two with these awesome, good-looking people! Let’s get right to part one. I hope you are all sitting down because you might just get knocked over from all the cute you are about to see…
